What is Tasting Note?

Tasting Note is an iOS app for tracking espresso shots. It lets you log dose, yield, time, grind setting, temperature, rating, and tasting notes for every shot you pull.

Who is it for?

Home baristas who want to dial in their espresso. Whether you're just starting out or have been pulling shots for years, the app helps you track what works and improve over time.

What can I track?

Espresso shots with full brewing parameters, coffee bags and roasters, and your equipment (grinders, machines, baskets). You can also attach photos and tasting notes to any entry.

Does the app use AI?

Yes — optionally. You can use AI to parse a typed shot description into structured data, or to get recipe suggestions based on your brewing context. Both features run only when you tap the button. Details on what data is sent are in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Coming soon. Future versions of the app may include a subscription for additional features, managed through Apple. Pricing and details will be disclosed at the point of purchase.
